Pulling power - Porsche 911 towing loop
The 2018 trackday and racing seasons may be over, but it won’t be too long before we are all thinking of getting back out there again. So why not treat yourself to one of our newly manufactured towing loops, just in case you have an unscheduled ‘off’? Near-replicas of the original Porsche devices, they pick up on the rear end of the air-cooled 911 crankcase – as well as on the essentially identical 996 and 997 GT3 cases, of course – and will allow safe and easy extraction from the gravel, should you be so unfortunate as to require it. They come in two versions: one for cars with side exhausts, and the other, with a slightly deeper mounting bracket (on the left in this picture), to clear an older-style transverse silencer.
